Raegan Sealy

Founder and CEO, UCurricula

College Coach and Mentor

Raegan Sealy is an award-winning educator, artist, and strategist dedicated to empowering the next generation of changemakers. With 15 years of experience in education, she has worked with thousands of young people, and personally guided more than 600 students to acceptance at their dream schools.

For the past five years, Raegan has led innovation at one of New York City’s most prestigious educational consulting firms, developing unparalleled expertise in U.S. college essay and application strategy. Holding both a BA and MFA in Creative Writing, she is an expert in storytelling and narrative development, helping students craft applications that are not just impressive, but deeply authentic and strategically positioned.

A Fulbright Scholar, Raegan has spent eight years serving on reading and interview panels for Fulbright scholarships at the undergraduate, scholar, and high school levels. Having evaluated thousands of applications, she brings rare insight into what top universities and elite funding bodies seek in candidates.

Beyond admissions, Raegan is an internationally recognized artist and advocate for equity and education. In 2019, she was selected for the exclusive TED Residency program, where she became the first to deliver an official TED Talk entirely in rhyming verse. Her talk, How Rap Saves Lives, made the case for integrating Hip Hop into mainstream literary education—an extension of her nonprofit Sound Board NYC, which was backed by Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation, The Nantucket Project, and a P.E.O. International Peace Scholarship. As a performing artist, she has shared the stage with Ice-T, Shane Koyczan, Kae Tempest, and Judah & The Lion.

A British-born, Brooklyn-based global citizen, Raegan is an alumna of International House New York, a competitive residency founded by the Rockefeller and Dodge families in 1924 to cultivate the next generation of world leaders. She was also a grantee of the Women’s International Leadership Program, training with Bayer International on global systems change leadership.

In 2021, Raegan was elected to the UK Fulbright Alumni Council, where she has collaborated with the U.S. Embassy in London on initiatives such as the Festival of Fulbright, celebrating the program’s 75th anniversary. She also serves as an alumni leader advisor to the Fulbright Association in Washington, D.C., and sits on the New York State board for AAUW (American Association of University Women).

As a first-generation college student, Raegan understands firsthand the power of education to transform lives. Now, as the founder of UCurricula, she is uniting her vast expertise, experience, and global network to build an unparalleled collective of educators and changemakers. UCurricula is the culmination of her life’s work: helping ambitious students unlock their full potential while equipping them to become the architects of a better future for all.
